From 2026 on, the new Overall Season Ranking will show the placement of all players in the league, independent of their division.

It combines the results from all divisions and all events.
This means every player is compared on the same scale.

The ranking is updated after each tournament.
It helps you see, where you stand in the league, but also how strong the top players are.
With the Overall Season Ranking, every player can compare their performance with all other players in the BBDL — from the first place to the last.

Principles of the Overall Ranking

To determine the BBDL overall season champions, a ranking system is used that includes all divisions.

Players who take part in the BBDL overall ranking receive points in a special system, based on their placement within their division at each individual tournament.

Points are awarded at each tournament according to a fixed table.

Only the best results — the highest point totals from a set number of tournaments — count toward the overall ranking. (The number depends on how many BBDL tournaments are held that year.)

15 Players who have collected the most points by the end of the final BBDL tournament of the season are honored as BBDL overall champions during the final event’s award ceremony.
