Principles of Individual Tournament Scoring

Players participating in BBDL tournaments compete against each other within their assigned divisions.

The best players in each division are honored and awarded prizes during the tournament’s award ceremony.

Note: There is no season-long BBDL overall ranking within the individual divisions.
The method for determining the BBDL Overall Season Ranking follows separate rules described here.

Ties in Individual Tournament Results

For 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, a Sudden Death playoff must take place over a number of holes determined by the tournament director.
The holes are played repeatedly until a winner is determined.

Ties for other prize-winning places (e.g., 4th or 5th place) are recorded as shared positions.

The order of throws during Sudden Death is decided randomly.
If a hole ends in a tie, the throwing order rotates for the next hole:
the player who threw first on the previous hole throws last on the next one, the second throws first, and so on.

The designated playoff holes will be published in the Caddy Book, or at the latest, announced at the first players’ meeting.
