Heart of BBDL is bumping
On this evening, something happened that inspired the idea of the BBDL and became its true heart: a shared dinner at a long table.
It sounds simple, but it was so much more.
For the first time, people from all participating countries and from many different clubs came together — not just to play a tournament, but to spend time with each other.
Even though they spoke different languages, the evening was full of laughter, real international exchange, and the beginning of new friendships.

Big Changes for BBDL 2026
New division structure: Performance-based PDGA divisions instead of age- and gender-based.
New overall season ranking: You’ll still compete for the win in your division at each event. But now there’s also a BBDL Overall Season Ranking (OSR) across all Divisions We’re looking for the Top 15 players of the season.
The best BBDL player of season will claim a unique Challenge trophy.
New event formats: There will be classic one-day BBDL tournaments, but maybe even two-day tournaments in the mix.
Why?

- Because we want more fun and fair competition.
- Because the BBDL is one of the highlights of European discgolf!
